Four years ago, La DoubleJ dove headfirst into Lake Como, joining forces with Valentina De Santis to turn Passalacqua’s pool, bar and solarium into a maximalist fantasia of prints, palettes and pure LDJ pleasure. Umbrellas, cushions, furniture, fixtures, tabletop treasures – not a corner escaped our pattern-happy gaze.

The partnership has become one of our most enduring love affairs, befitting a hotel as singular as Passalacqua: part palazzo, part dream sequence, all dolce vita. Today, the Al Fresco assortment has expanded to include outdoor poufs, raffia trays and tables at the hotel, alongside pieces you can take home – including the new “Ciao For Now” trinket tray, handmade in Tuscany and crowned with the signature Passalacqua fish.
