This all-body-friendly dress does what it says! A slick kaftan to shimmy into after you emerge, Bond Girl-like, from the Adriatic surf. Long, ballooning sleeves, embellished with tie-cuffs, and a square cut neck will have you channeling all your favourite sixties starlets. Made in cascading reams of voluminous superlight cotton voile. To tie or not to tie, it's up to you!
This print was sourced by LaDoubleJ in the Italian archives of Mantero Seta, one of Lake Como’s oldest silk manufacturers. It was originally designed in the 1940s by the Paris-based fabric designer Suzanne Kientz, who was known for making collages to create her prints, often using paper, crayons, gouache, and ink.
