We just delivered our maximalist magic to the shores of Lake Como, designing the new pool and bar area of the historic Villa Passalacqua in its entirety with our signature joy. Valentina De Santis, the property’s inimitably generous and joyful captain, and J.J. Martin have enveloped the Passalacqua solarium in La DoubleJ’s hallmark prints, from layout and color palette to the furniture, fixtures, umbrellas, tabletop items, and every last detail down to the charming matchbooks. For those who can’t join us for the grand opening of this historic property, we’ve delivered a taste of this lakeside magic to you with the cushions, placemats, napkins and aprons that we custom-created for the space, along with the perfect LDJ pieces to pair them with, so you can bring some of that Como color into your own home.
