A group of the most gorgeous souls gathered barefoot on an East Hampton beach to join J.J. and Beth Buccini of Kirna Zabete for an evening under the stars. Beth, who has championed La DoubleJ since our first 10 piece collection in 2017, brought her signature infectious enthusiasm and light to the affair, bringing together old friends and new on a misty Thursday night as the waves of the Atlantic crashed just steps away. Chilean Reiki Mast, Rodrigo Apioloza, lit by the bonfire, guided us through individual and group energy activations before we snuggled into the giant cushions laid out across the sand to enjoy our beautifully laid dinner. Salt air with a barefoot beach circle of our sisters. What could be more “summer”.

Mama Farm, the extraordinary 28-acre property in Bellport, NY was inspired by the connective atmosphere of the classic Italian Piazza in the spirit of its founders’ Elettra Wiedemann and Isabella Rossellini’s Italian heritage. Looking to create a vibrant place for their beautiful Brookhaven community to share knowledge and foster the next generation of environmental stewards, the mother-daughter duo has created a natural oasis of biodiversity from which is grown all the produce for their CSA, and which houses a beautiful, 8-room B&B. It was here where we gathered on a bright, Saturday morning in June for an al fresco Breathwork & Breakfast. After greeting our many NYC friends who drove, cycled or strolled in from just around the corner, we gathered in a circle on the ground for an intense and cathartic Breathwork session led by the incredible Alison Sinatra. The extraordinary experience was a first for J.J., “This was the first time I’d ever done Breathwork lying down on the ground, outside, under a constellation of trees, with all of Gaia’s forces merging with my spine, organs, skin and cells.” We then luxuriated in a healing Sound Bath guided by Jennifer Muir, before sitting down to literally the most “farm-fresh” breakfast we’ve ever had. What a privilege it was to spend the morning with these beautiful faces and friends, and to share this powerful container of breath, sound and healing in this wild, hot summer.

Amid all this magic, J.J. spent a glorious afternoon in Amagansett with our dear friend, Saks’ Senior VP and Fashion Director, Roopal Patel, recording a live interview on all things style and soul as we shared our symbiotic spiritual journeys.
